Read MoreFor nearly 70 years, Eggleston has been providing education, training, and employment for adults with disabilities. Our goal is to create a safe place for individuals with disabilities to engage and develop the necessary tools to live out their daily lives. We offer a number of resources that are geared towards achieving this goal including residential, employment, and supportive services.
In addition, we provide necessary services to the community through our many business ventures. These ventures leverage the needs of the community and the hard work of people with disabilities to provide necessary services.
Eggleston offers various services that are aimed at helping adults with disabilities develop the necessary skills to increase their independence and achieve their personal goals. We provide support services which include group day services and community engagement and coaching.
In addition, we offer case management, support groups, and a group program to survivors of traumatic brain injury. With our brain injury services, individuals focus on their personal strengths and work towards developing the skills and self-esteem needed to regain control of meaningful and productive lives.
Finally, Eggleston also offers both in-home and congregate living (group home) residential care for adults who have a primary diagnosis of intellectual disabilities. Our services are person-centered, focusing on the individuals’ goals and abilities.

We first entrusted Eggleston with the assembly and mailing of vital policy statements to our stores because we believed they were capable and we wanted to support the people with disabilities in our community. We continue to use Eggleston because they are great to work with, deliver as promised, and we know it makes a difference by creating more job opportunities for their workforce.

People with disabilities often have a desire to work, but may not have the necessary tools to do so. With Eggleston’s community employment program, people with disabilities are assisted and supported in their journey to find employment.
Within our community employment program, individuals are assisted through the many steps of applying, interviewing, training, and maintaining employment. Eggleston goes the extra mile with supported employment services that provide ongoing support, even after job placement and training are complete.
In addition to our community employment opportunities, Eggleston has a number of in-house businesses. These businesses provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Some of our businesses include a reputable car donation charity, document shredding and scanning, commercial landscaping, business fulfillment, two commercial laundries, mailroom services, food service, and more.
These businesses serve the community and the military while also providing a place for people with disabilities to gain a sense of belonging. So, if you are looking for a car donation charity or a secure document shredding company, Eggleston provides these services. Plus, when you utilize one of Eggleston’s businesses, you are enriching the community by helping individuals with disabilities gain work experience and live fuller lives.
